Death Certificate

Mandatory bureaucratic practices after a death

In the event of death, the law provides that the family members or their delegate, or a cohabitant or otherwise informed persons of death, make a compulsory death report; this operation is carried out by the funeral company enlisted for the funeral.

For the purpose of the report two documents must be presented: a certificate from the certifying doctor, issued by the local AUSL, and the ISTAT statistical form compiled by the medical staff who intervened. In the event that the death occurred in a hospital, an institute or in any case a public structure of this kind, it is the administrative departments that have to deal with these documents.

Relying on the professionals at Morasca in Rome, you do not have to worry about these bureaucratic procedures: we will take care of everything, leaving you free from tasks that, in the moment of mourning, can be particularly unpleasant.
